I think they are trying to play into nostalgia about mom or grandma giving us chicken soup when we had a cold.

But somehow, this just does not strike me as quite the same thing! lol.

@Teslin I have no idea and I want to know is it sweet? I think saltiness would be more soothing than sugar in most cough drops. Honey would be the exception to the sugar.

@Teslin Yes they are being marketed for that. Probably soothing for a sore throat. It’s flavored like chicken soup.
