Question regarding Excedrin migraine and Excedrin tension headache medicine

So the Excedrin migraine has 50 mg of caffeine and 250 mg of aspirin. The Excedrin tension headache medicine has 500 mg of acetaminophen and 65 mg of caffeine.

My question is, because of the amount of caffeine in the medication, is there a good time in the day when you might not want to take the medicine because it could potentially keep you awake for longer, or does the caffeine in the medication not affect you like other caffeine from say, beverages?

Typically, I will take two Excedrin migraine at a time which is the maximum allowed limit in a 24-hour period. Since the Excedrin tension headache medicine dosages are a lot higher I was thinking about just taking one, but I wanted to get other people's opinions about it.

Personally I think aspirin works exponentially better than acetaminophen. Tylenol is trash IMHO, it's the worst and least effective over the counter pain reliever imho

Either way 50-65mg of caffeine is a super low and almost negligible amount.

@MethDozer when Excedrin migraine was pulled from shelves, I bought Tylenol, ibuprofen, and Bayer. None of them worked for my headaches.

I looked it up the other day, I get tension headaches. What's even funnier is I went and organized another section of my room yesterday and found a paper from a medical visit that even has listed that I get tension headaches.

But with regards to ibuprofen, I was only taking 2 at a time, I didn't realize I could have took more as hospital nurses have said it's safe to take 600mg of ibuprofen for pain.

@twiigss Exedrine migraine is still sold.

@MethDozer no there was a time when it was pulled from shelves because there was a measuring of ingredients issue. Back in 2020.

As soon as it came back out, I buy 2 bottles at a time now

@twiigss Word. It's just a mix of Tylenol and aspirin with a small amount of coffee. Just take one of each and have a coffee if you run out again. That's what I do usually. Always mix your NSAIDs for max effect.
