Just my mom being her usual self...

She called me yesterday and asked if I wanted to go with her and stepdad to visit his mom (my step-gmaw)

Me: I can't, I'm sick.
Mom: oh? What's wrong?
I told her the symptoms
Mom: oh, ok. But it's her birthday soon, so we're gonna visit her today since we're in the area anyway.
Me: I know, but I'm sick and don't know if it's contagious, so I can't risk it.
Mom: Well, let me know when you've decided wether or not you wanna come along.




Today:
Mom: I'm gonna do some fishing at the dock nesr you. Wanna join me?
Me: I'm still sick...
Mom: Oh? What's wrong?

Now she's telling me to talk to the doctor, which is fair, and I would if I didn't keep sleeping through the hours they can be reached. It's not bad enough to warrant a call to the emergency doctor.
Yes, I've tried setting an alarm, but I sleep through that too.
