So it was just me and Sissy tonight

So tonight was a pretty calm night. Joel's ex wife kept the boys tonight. She'll be dropping them off early tomorrow morning. She is a brave woman keeping the tiny tornado this long lol.

When Joel came home from work and took his shower when he came out I knew something was off. He looked pale and sweaty.

I asked him if he was okay and he said no. I touched his forehead and he was burning up. Pretty sure he has the flu. He took some Tylenol flu medicine, he didn't argue so I know he doesn't feel good and laid down on the couch. He was out in about 5 minutes.

So it was just me and Sissy. We had dinner watched the royals game by the fire and made s'mores. We play phase 10 flip a few times. She beat me every time. I think I'm not very good at card games.

After she went to bed I checked on Joel. He's still out cold on the couch. He still feels really warm. So now I'm relaxing on the recliner next to him making sure he's ok.

Going to be a long night.

And I am feeling so anxious right now. I don't know why. I can't calm myself down either. Can't take my anxiety meds either because I need to able to get up and help him or hear the alarm is Sissy sleep walks

Got Park and recreation on the tv. Heard it was a good show. Pretty funny so far

Yes, it's a favorite of many, but I have neither seen it nor attempted to watch it.

Oh, that's why. The Game of Thrones series just started. I was excited to see the series, as I was a big fan of the books. Back in the 90s, I was at the bookstore, just wasting time TBH. And then I saw this baby.

This was before Martin strike gold, HBO got their hands on it.
