What did you lose?

@Kuronekko an auction for a car i really wanted to buy.
I did so much research on it - basically emotionally owned it lol
Live auction was supposes to be on wesbesday - but they accepted an offer before the auction it seems since its marked sold.
The real kicker.. i had won it the first time around, but it didnt meet there reserve price so they relisted it..
Feel like i was cheated 🤬

@HeadAboveWater That car is not your soul mate. That car is still out there waiting for you, somewhere.

Never worry about NOT getting a vehicle at an auction, no matter how new or old the vehicle is!
I can tell you from being in the nautical marine business that anything that ever gets put into an auction sale, is ONLY ever put into an auction as a LAST RESORT. Usually there's something wrong with the item in question, even if it's brand new.

@swirlie ofcourse - i did enough research to know this was the needle in the haystack.

..then WHY was that car released to an auction site for disposal if you did enough research, which led you to believe it was one of those illusive 'good ones' that nobody else but you knew about?
Any car, boat or truck that ends up in an auction either has something wrong with it that cannot be fixed cheaply, OR it was a leased vehicle or a cop car that had the crap driven out of it throughout it's service life.. OR the vehicle was 8 years old or older, making it no longer marketable on a used car lot, regardless of it's mileage.

@swirlie thats 99% of the cars.

That is correct. That was my point. Any car in an auction is there for a very specific reason.
