Ugh.....feeling unwell.

I had salad for lunch yesterday....over 12 hours ago and the damn lettuce is still repeating on me. I began to feel quite unwell by 6pm and skipped tea. Im aching all over....all my joints.
I went to bed early, but couldnt sleep.
Its 3am. Im shattered, in pain and feeling sorry for myself. 🤒😕🥺

Get well soon ..unfortunately this sounds like food poisoning.
I had week in bed with that a while back.
Not much you can do except wait it out.

@TheSirfurryanimalWales could be. But we were called to mum in laws by the carers on Sunday night....she had been sick all weekend ....so i may have caught a bug off her. I just wanna sleep.

My friend cant eat lettuce either as the acidity in it gives her terrible heartburn. Hopefully you can sleep it off.

The horrid flu thing? I had it before Christmas and had a couple of awful nights with the aches etc. Left me with a very irritating cough that's only just going.

@OldBrit i havent really got a cough or cold. I did a few weeks back.
I cant really fathom out how im feeling to be honeither than knackered and uncomfortable.

Sometimes lettuce is contaminated. Not often...but sometimes it can cause food borne illness. We have scares like that with our Romaine lettuce fairly often. The fields in which the lettuce is grown are sometimes contaminated with filthy water from adjacent fields which might contain fecal elements.

I saw in the news that certain salad products were contaminated with salmonella and could make you sick.. you might want to check yours against the recall
