Does frosting make anyone else sick?

There was this chocolate cake and I love sugar so of course I had to have a piece. This thing was 4 layers tall and loaded with frosting. It was also topped with brownie triangles and shaved chocolate. Even the sides had crumbled brownie dust on them. I swear the top had this big swirl of it on top and I want to say it was at least 3 inches high of pure frosting. I ate the entire piece but damn do I feel nauseous. It was worth it. I don't know where my brother got that cake from but I know exactly how that bruce kid from Matilda felt after eating that cake.

If you aren’t used to it then it can make you sick, they put way too much on cakes and cupcakes any more at bakeries etc.

@cherokeepatti It's weird because when I was younger I could eat anything and be alright. Things started getting weird about two years ago stomach wise. I don't know what I can and cannot eat anymore.

@NovaNine Sugar and a lot of fats are so processed that they are very inflammatory, we get more sensitive to it as we age.

The last time I tasted a chocolate brownie I spat it out.
I wrapped the whole thing in a napkin and returned it to the cafe counter with a note to the chef about the excess sugar. I suggested he make a brownie with 90% less sugar and offer customers a separate sweet sauce so they can choose to use as much or little as suits their taste.
I decided never to buy a sweet thing again.

I eat mostly savoury foods. The sweetest foods I enjoy are fruits - 2 or 3 per day.

@hartfire Some places definitely go overboard with the sugar. I get what you mean

Sugar and crisco overload!

@SlaveEt It's a good thing I'm not diabetic because I had enough sugar to probably kill a horse.
