I Have An Invisible Disability

To the outside world I look normal! No one sees the insulin pump clipped to my bra. The line that carries the insulin to the cannula injected into my tummy,
No one sees every third day me changing the cannula and refilling my pump. But that’s ok. Being normal means a bit more effort. Like ten blood glucose tests a day. Like weighing your food and calculating your carbs. It’s how I keep healthy. I just want to be mainstream. Part of the crowd. A normal 18 year old!
