Any diabetic here have neuropathy, how do you treat it?

My sister has labile diabetes which has led to horrible neuropathy in her feet and legs. She has slight discoloration on her toes, with one toe starting to pry up itself, called hammer toe😕 So many stabbing pains that no medicine helps, and awful numbness in her feet. Do you have any tips for treating any of it ? She said the numbness is so bad she wishes she'd die😢
