For anyone who has experienced diabetic neuropathy

How long have you had it? Did it take years to come on/gradually, or fast (like my sister) within months?

What TREATMENT worked for you? My sister is in horrible, debilitating pain daily for months now. No pill has helped her. They have not tried opiods yet however. I do believe she needs morphine. She said she is on the verge of asking to have her feet amputated it is getting that bad. It is just heartwrenching. She is only 36 . she is def. trying to lower her sugars too, but the insulin makes her sugars CRASH low FAST. So she really can't take much insulin.. therefore it stays high.

Has any injection helped your neuropathy? Any laser therappy? She is trying to get to a chriopractor for laser therapy but it is VERY pricey. She is also trying to get a spinal stimulator which supposedly can help turn off pain receptors going down to her feet, but they need her sugars stable first. It is such an awful battle. Any ideas on treatments or what helped you welcome.
CYANOCOBALAMIN seems to work for some I heard. It just depends if her body can adjust to it. Best to consult with a doctor, hope it helps
