I've had this small wound on my right leg for like a year...

Ever since I banged my shin on my trailer hitch last year, there's been a wound there. It scabs over, but it has never fully healed. My doctor and I have been monitoring it because of my diabetes. Recently, it finally started to heal, but like a dumbass, I debrided it a little too hard, and it reopened.

Today, after looking at it again, my doctor referred me for an X-ray to make sure that the bones underneath the skin aren't affected, because if that happens...

I might not have a leg to stand on.
