Anybody remember the pandemic?

What was that all about?

I remember how blue the sky was then. And cheap gas prices. And the boy being home and I had to make him tea & snacks every once in a while to bring him during his Zoom classes to make sure he was not sitting around in his boxer shorts during those classes. Those kids would tell him that I was so nice to him. 😂
The good old days when people couldn't come near me and it was quiet

@pripyatamusementpark my life during the pandemic really didn't change much. I was doing my own kidney disease/failure/dialysis thing. "Oh I can't go anywhere or be around people? I wasn't planning on doing any of that anyway".

@FreestyleArt Before they had a mask ordinance here in my city I could run a lot of errands and shopping in about half the time I usually did. There was so little traffic to deal with and not many standing in line in the stores. Then after they passed that ordinance I drove to the next city (which didn’t have that ordinance) and did all of my grocery shopping at one large locally-owned store. I’m sure others did the same and the city lost a of sales tax as a result because of it. They stopped printing the quarterly sales tax revenues in the newspaper when that was going on. DIdn’t want the citizens to see how much this was affecting shopping here.

Overblown hype for population control imo pushed by media propaganda and government overreach/oppression bs
