Trump is attacking no one. He asked for a fair trade deal from the country that refuses to follow the rules but expects everyone else to. China steals our intellectual property, manufactures it in China cheaper, sells it cheaper, and ignores our complaints. China is in big trouble economically. The tariffs have caused the closure of several of their factories, with more coming. They have now effectively been banned from the largest economy in the world, and are too stubborn to offer a fair trade deal or to honor those agreements. Let them suffer.
