Gp's refusing to see any patients unless they can provide a negative COVID rat

So you can't go to see a GP anymore without providing a negative covid test? What a crock of shit! Trying to get an appt for my daughter and the GP places I called all said without a negative rat they'll refuse to see her. Gp Access (a local after-hours GP service) said same thing on the weekend. I wonder if a hospital ED would try the same stunt?

Back when Covid was 'rife' the government here told everyone with any minor hint of a sniffle or cold-like symptom to rush off and get a PCR test and then rush off to see a GP 'if pain persists'. Now PCR tests are next to impossible to get (and they're no longer free) and it's all based around inferior RAT's. My daughter got rat'd by her mum and was negative last week but I got told that's not acceptable. I've never done a rat myself.

Then the government told everyone to get jabbed, then the government told everyone to get multiple jabs. Yet Covid is still not 'under control' like the government/media/WHO told us all it would be. 8-) Convid to the max!

And the extortion of Covid continues. Only place I could get RAT's was a local pharmacy (drug store) with a box of 5 for $42.99, so not only a commercialised continual scam but also a rounding-up rip off. Thankfully my daughter's test is negative, so the GP clinic will now allow me to take her for an appt.

Sounds downright criminal. This would be a good issue for an ambitious politician

Pushed by those selling the tests?

@Slade Dunno. RAT's were always a commercialised scam when PCR tests were free and the government was getting ansty about how much money the pathology mobs were raking in. Now it's next to impossible to get PCR tests.

@zonavar68 if you're near a big city there might be a place to get them free. There still are a few places here in NYC that do though I've never gone

Truly baffling. Is politics involved?
zonavar68 · 51-55, M
@jackjjackson I bet it is. The clinic she's a patient at has also been bought out by a conglmerate owning multiple clinics around australia, but it seems to be policy everywhere now. Rat-up or don't be seen by a GP. Kinda makes out that you're a 'Covid criminal' by default until proven otherwise.
