I don’t believe I have covid at all. So why the hell am I at home?

I feet horrible yesterday. I already called out of work for a couple days. I don’t wanna get fired. Fever, chills, aching, headache, soar throat. I’m still congested, have a cough, a headache but my soar throat is gone, my fever is going down. I know the test says positive but I still don’t believe I have covid. My parents don’t think I have it and I should go to work tomorrow but the test said positive. My dad said the test could be a lie and I sound better when I talked to him on the phone.
Why am I at home?! I should be at work.

You're old enough to decide for yourself if you are up to going to work or not! You feel too ill? you stay at home! You get some strength back, feel you can survive, you go to work!

It's called common sense! Everybody had it before 2020!

WHO NEEDS A TEST??? Testing yourself to see if you're ill? What nonsense? Throw your tests in the trash and do what YOU THINK AND FEEL IS BEST!

And by the way, I hope you're soon back to normal health

I’m sorry, but common sense says stay home when sick regardless of what virus it is. I don’t think much of people who go to work and infect others, even with a cold. @WalterF
