Is the covid pandemic over? Is it publicized as over and done, legally?

I don't want fights and debates about covid.
I just want some real answers and information on whether the pandemic is now over or not.

Yes, in the sense that Trump supporters stopped us from defeating it.

So now it's ENdemic, like flu, in the US.

But NO, the virus is still active. It's still changing.

We are a cautionary tale, not a leader.

@SomeMichGuy I'm going to let the political part slide and move on.

@SomeMichGuy Actually it was correct
@MrBrownstone We didn't need to have that many ppl die. And THAT's correct.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@SomeMichGuy Like the flu?
@MrBrownstone
No, distinct, and the masking/distancing actually helped keep flu deaths depressed (as it does in, say, Japan, etc.).
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@SomeMichGuy Actually it doesn’t.

@MrBrownstone https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1957–1958_influenza_pandemic
The number of excess deaths caused by the pandemic is estimated to be 1–4 million around the world (1957–1958 and probably beyond), making it one of the deadliest pandemics in history.[2][3][5][6][7]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hong_Kong_flu
The Hong Kong flu, also known as the 1968 flu pandemic, was a flu pandemic whose outbreak in 1968 and 1969 killed between one and four million people globally.[1][2][3][4][5] It is among the deadliest pandemics in history

If you're gonna take a quotation from the beginning of the pandemic out of context to try to claim that what actually happened wasn't that bad, it'd be best for you if you didn't pick one that still made you look like a total jackass.

@OggggO What percentage of the US population died from it?
SW-User
@MrBrownstone I'm now asking you to quit with the debate here too. This wasn't about debates, arguing and all. I just wanted some answers as to whether the pandemic is over and if anyone had something to add they either read or heard.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@SW-User I posted a fact from New England journal of medicine

@MrBrownstone And it didn't address my question. I asked for an answer to my question and even asked all who reply to not turn it into a debate or argument and not to bring politics.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@SW-User I did answer. I was replying to the other guy
OggggO · 36-40, M
@MrBrownstone Hard to say what percentage has died from a pandemic that isn't over yet.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@OggggO What ends it?
OggggO · 36-40, M
@MrBrownstone When the number of cases goes below and stays below pandemic levels.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@OggggO Which are?

@OggggO CDC has no credibility
OggggO · 36-40, M
@MrBrownstone And yet you insist an outdated quote by Dr. Fauci speculating about what was at the time the future of an unknown disease is authoritative. You are such a transparent hack.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@OggggO It turned out to be true. You mad I never wore a mask?
SW-User
@MrBrownstone I don't want to block you and others, but I will if this keeps on.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@MrBrownstone You say it turned out to be true without even knowing what it meant.
MrBrownstone · 46-50, M
@OggggO Still true
