I have covid and I am in the ER

I just wanted to let you know that I have tested positive for Covid and I am in the ER.

I am not doing well. This has hit me so hard very quickly and I am very scared for what is to come.

For those of you that are close know that I have struggled very much with my health and I am very immune compromised and even more so with this super bug amoeba infection in my sinuses.

Please pray or send healing vibes to me. I have never been so sick and in so much pain in my life and this is just the beginning of it.

This is such a gut-wrenching thing to hear. I'm at least happy that you're getting the best medical care you can, but I'm still sorry you have to go through this.

I don't really believe in prayers or positive vibes, but I will say that I am rooting for you to pull through. You're such a positive, prominent member of our ragtag community and it would benefit us all to have you back at full strength.

But life happens and we all gotta ride the struggle bus sometimes. Hopefully our words give you the little bit of encouragement you need to fight back against this thing, because it sounds like it's going to be a fight.

I know it's cliché, but I really do hope you feel better soon. It sucks seeing bad things happen to good people, so a speedy recovery would make a lot of us really happy.

@TinyViolins I really appreciate that. I feel very lucky that the hospital staff could arrange to get the medication sent to my small town so I could have it infused here and not have to travel to the city.
