yes both my mother and i have had it and my mam is just getting over it after a fortnight. we are both vaccinated up to date but i was worried over mam getting it . if not god knows how this would of worked out if she had no vaccination [hippyjoe1955]

@smiler2012 I just spent 14 hours with a good friend of mine who is triple jabbed. He recently recovered from severe and lingering covid. I almost didn't recognize him. He lost about 60 lbs in the 6 weeks he was battling covid. I couldn't believe that the 200 lbs man that I knew now looks like a walking skeleton. What bothered me most was how he got it. He went to a work camp that you had to be vaxed to get in. You got a test before you got on the airplane, you wore a mask, you social distanced, you were tested at the gate before you got into the camp, You got tested again every 4 days. He still got covid and got severely ill. I had covid too. It was a mild cold that I was over in 4 days. I never even missed a day's work. My vaxed friend asked if I though he should get a 4th jab since it would lessen his symptoms. .... Oh and one other thing he shares a house with his sister who looks after foster children. Everyone in the house has to vaxed by government order. They all got very ill with covid (omnicron).
