“Dr. Jakub Sawicki, Dr. Stephen McKenzie and Dr. Lorne Segall were trusted colleagues who were committed to caring for their patients and community.”

Trillium Health, which operates hospitals in Toronto and Mississauga, said rumours circulating on social media that the deaths were related to the COVID-19 vaccine are false.

“The rumour circulating on social media is simply not true. Their passings were not related to the COVID-19 vaccine,” Shilton said.

On July 17, Dr. Lorne Segall, a 49-year-old otolaryngologist at Credit Valley Hospital, passed away after a “ridiculously unfair and hard fought year-long battle with advanced lung cancer,” his obituary reads.

He was an “adored” husband of 22 years and the “devoted” father of a 16, 14 and nine year old.

“He shared many interests with his children including an arcane level of car knowledge, a love of Air Jordans, a penchant for all things Marvel and actually all movies, impressive gaming expertise, fitness and super jackedness, comic books and food knowledge,” his obituary says.

A day later on July 18, Dr. Stephen McKenzie, a neurologist who joined Trillium Health nearly 40 years ago, died. He was one of the neurology department’s founding members and took on a strong interest in medical education.

“Dr. McKenzie was a caring, kind and gentle man, who truly enjoyed life,” his memorial notice reads.

According to McKenzie’s office, he had been “seriously ill” leading up to his death and his office was permanently closed. The nature of his illness was not disclosed.

Dr. Jakub Sawicki completed his family medicine training at Credit Valley and went on to become a member of the Trillium Health surgical assistance team in 2014. A memorial notice distributed on July 21 says Sawicki developed a passion for pain medicine and later became the medical director of pain medicine clinics in the region. His funeral took place the following day.

His wife Iris Sawicki told CTV News Toronto her husband’s diagnosis of Stage 4 Gastric Cancer, Signet Ring Cell Adenocarcinoma, one of the most aggressive forms of stomach cancer, came as a shock last August.
@TinyViolins Thank you for tracking down the truth and exposing dippyjoe's falasehoods!

When dippy said
The list of doctors I posted were healthy people some in top physical shape
he was flat out LYING!!

@ElwoodBlues He'll believe any conspiracy he comes across. He has a gift for twisting the truth until it conforms to his pre-existing beliefs

@ElwoodBlues What truth does the article say that I didn't. There have been a lot of deaths among doctors and nurses who have been jabbed. Some of those deaths were from cancer and cancer is also one of the side effects of the jab. Again your lack of intellectual capacity has you believing your nazi fascist betters. Too bad you can't do science.
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 What science do you do, hippyjoe? Because right now I'm seeing somebody that is pretending to know more about medical research than actual doctors
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@TinyViolins Many years ago I used to do research into how to get oil out of dirt on an industrial scale. It was a lot of fun. Try a method then do an analysis of the results. It was very cutting edge and research was very raw. What mechanical methods combined with what chemical methods etc. I was working with a lot of very brilliant men and women. Since my time the research has gone a long way to solving the problems. Ever heard of SAGD? Solved lots of issues but created a few more. Still a long way to go. What is your science background?
TinyViolins · 31-35, M
@hippyjoe1955 I do have a science degree, though it's in statistics. It's kinda weird thinking of statistics as a science, but that's what the diploma says.

It's one reason why I find your claims of COVID vaccines causing people to drop dead so completely absurd. I've pored over well over 50 studies on COVID vaccines, their side-effects, and their effectiveness; and the idea that the vaccines are inherently deadly is simply not supported by research. That claim is either based on a heavily flawed interpretation of VAERS data, or just made up entirely irrespective of the science.

You could argue for things like blood clots or myocarditis and have at least a somewhat legitimate gripe against the vaccines, but to say that they cause cancer or are killing off doctors is completely fabricated. There is no science to support those claims.

@TinyViolins Statistics is a vital part of science. Too bad you only read studies that agree with what you want to believe if indeed you have read 50 studies. The studies I have looked at do not reflect the reality on the ground. When you know three people who have died from the jab and none who died from covid the studies saying otherwise are very suspect. When you see all your vaxed acquaintances getting covid over and over and over again the studies saying otherwise are very suspect. When you see multiple people having adverse reactions to the vax any study saying otherwise is very very suspect. Strange how easy it is to manipulate the data and publish a study that is completely bogus. I was reading an article in the scientific publication talking about fake or misleading 'studies' and how easy it is get them published. The article went on to point out 7 papers that had to be withdrawn because they were later shown to be false. So tell me did you read the Pfizer documentation? The ones where they admit that the vax is very dangerous? Strange how they are never mentioned but the documents show a high kill rate and a very low efficacy at preventing the disease. Which brings us back to the real point here. Why do we need a vax? There are highly effective therapies that have worked across the globe but the only solution we are allowed to consider is the vax. Then there is the FACT that a virus mutates to weaker and weaker strains until it is just background noise. Covid would be a completely harmless virus in a few months if we didn't try to vax against it. Even the doctor who most pushed the vax now says that she knew at the time she was pushing them that they wouldn't work. Huh? Dr Birx says the vaxes wouldn't work and knew it before she pushed them onto an unsuspecting and in your case gullible population? really?
@hippyjoe1955
Statistics is a vital part of science.
Agreed.

Statistically, your sample size is WAY WAY too small to draw any conclusions. If you had ever studied science, if you had ever done error analysis on a scientific experiment, you'd know how to apply Student's t-test or similar and you'd discover your variance - and in particular the variance of the mean - is impossibly large.

BTW, remember a few days ago you spent a lot of time arguing about the lab and field studies of breakdown of stratospheric ozone? remember you argued that even those extensive experiments weren't sufficient for you to draw cause & effect conclusions? Given those incredibly high standards you have for cause & effect, I'd just like to point out that you've done NOTHING to establish any of your claimed cause & effect relationships.

@ElwoodBlues not so. If some one says that there is no danger and you know three deaths.... Obviously someone is not being honest and since you have no agenda in observing the deaths ... Why would you believe the safety data put out by some who does have an agenda.
