Well I guess having Covid proved that my parents don't give a f*ck about me

Neither of them have contacted me at all since my brother told them I have it. I'm not surprised, just more disappointed than I thought I would be.

Of course you're disappointed. Who wouldn't be?

My mother died in 2018. She constantly worried about me. If she were alive now and if I had COVID, she would be positive that I was in the hospital on a respirator until I told her otherwise!

I hope you recover soon, and I am sorry about your parents.

Maybe it's not about you, and they're one of those people who think Covid is a hoax? 😅
That is just...so horribly sad. I am so sorry.

I always say: "if you create expectations of someone, you're setting yourself up for disappointment. "

Doubly so when you fail to share those expectations with the person.

What were your expectations? Phone call, flowers, card? When's the last time you heard from them?

@itsoeasy they don't answer my calls.
Maybe they expect the same thing from you.
DearAmbellina2113 · 41-45, F
@Spoiledbrat they don't answer my calls, texts, or letters. I've done all I can.

When there was a possibility that I could have cancer my mom was like, "Well, you're better off knowing that not knowing" 🤷‍♂️

Yeah, thanks mom 👌
