Got told to stay home from work because someone(not in my dept.) has Covid.

Just for the record, I heard a doctor (can’t recall who) say that it’s going to be here for thousands of years. Essentially, my life is over, if that’s the case. I’ll be isolated for the rest of my life. 😔
