Rona paranoia runs in the family for some

One of my work friends has a family member who is so paranoid about the Vid that she will not let *anyone* visit (family or not) without doing a RAT and showing her the result at the door! WTF!

The person doesn't have any health complications which covid would trigger or exacerbate apparently - just completely pro-cult. Not even a healthcare worker either I don't think.

Taking a deadly disease seriously is not cult like behavior. Ignoring science and medicine because it is inconvenient is though.

And how do you know the entire medical history of your friend's family?

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow I don't but what logical reason would a person have to enforce anyone coming to the house to do a RAT? The person won't even answer the door for anyone she doesn't know unless they wear a mask and stand back from the doorway.

@butterflybaby75 Really simple. This is common sense if you have any contact in your life with people who are vulnerable. Getting people killed or in the ICU because someone doesn't want to be mildly inconvenienced is not logical.

@IreneInBoots Quite a few people in their extended family won't visit because of the behaviour around Covid. I bet it now extends to include the normal Flu too.

@IreneInBoots Yes Covid was never about being 'all in this together' etc. or 'saving lives'. It's been entirely about dividing and conquering populations.
