People who test negative at a clinic with no symptoms and then who test positive at home days after exhibiting symptoms aren't added to the COVID data so the numbers aren't showing everyone who contracts it. I believe COVID will be around for a long time just like the flu and the cold because they mutate. We can't select how severe or mild our symptoms are based on our age or health status. I care if I cause someone to experience severe symptoms of COVID and I don't want to get it a second time so I'm continuing to be safe. There's a fifty-fifty chance of catching it once or again. The removal of the six feet rule and the removal or reduction of the mask mandates may have increased the numbers of people testing positive for COVID.
@joahola98wj i completely agree
