Lockdown Fallout

We are witnessing the obvious outcomes of insane lockdowns (amongst other "covid" actions like printing money at the rate of knots) which has created a global supply chain issue and inflation.

If you are told to lockdown again (house arrest) will you adhere? (Lockdowns do nothing good for health btw)

Any evidence for your statements?
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Zeusdelight what part?
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@gol979 Any part
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Zeusdelight that global lockdowns cause global supply chain issues? That printing an insane amount of money will lead to inflation? I mean do you need "evidence".....its pretty obvious, no?
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@gol979 No. I like evidence. Anyone can make good ol' common sense statements - but the evidence is good.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Zeusdelight the evidence is right in front of you. Is inflation (above 5%) happening in many countries? Yes. Are there global supply chain issues? Yes. What do you want? A list of articles like the bank of england (who perpetuated this designed fiscal crisis) saying "the nightmare inflation will hit uk soon" or "we are going to see apocalyptic food shortages"
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@gol979 That is not evidence that the lockdowns created the situation. That is simply evidence of the current situation.

Your argument is that the lockdowns created the situation. I am asking for your evidence of that?
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Zeusdelight all the evidence is right in front of you. The printing of money during the last 2 years is unprecedented and lockdowns will obviously lead to supply chain issues. And the bank of england has said exactly what i quoted
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@gol979 Ok, so you are repeating yourself. Thanks anyway.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Zeusdelight i just dont know what you want. What evidence will satisfy you? What do you think has caused supply chain issues and inflation? And will you adhere to another lockdown?
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@gol979 You are saying the lockdowns have caused the supply chain issues and inflation. I am asking you for evidence of that. I don't think I can put it any simpler.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Zeusdelight so if you lockdown whole countries including ports, flights etc you wont het supply chain problems? Come on, that is an obvious outcome. And on top of economy destroying lockdowns you add printing money at a crazy rate, would this not obviously lead to inflation? Youre correct, we are just going round in circles
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@gol979 Funnily enough, I know what a lockdown is. You don't seem to know what evidence is.

Your opinion is not evidence.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Zeusdelight "yes, but locking down entire countries including goods in/out distribution defo doesnt lead to supply chains breaking down". Ok bud
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@gol979 Quoting your own statement and agreeing with it isn't a great argument:) You have no evidence, you have your opinion.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Zeusdelight if you disagree, posit what your opinion is then. Nowt wrong with disagreement and debate
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@gol979 Posit my opinion. Why? Your opinion is your opinion. It has no extrinsic value other than your opinion.

If you had evidence, then I would be interested in a debate. But you have none.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Zeusdelight i asked what evidence do you want (not that you shoukd need it as it is a very obvious outcome)? Its like getting punched in the face, knowing who did it but then asking for evidence of why your face is bruised and who hit you
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@gol979 I don't think you understand what evidence is. I can't explain it any simpler than I have.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Zeusdelight what evidence do you want? What is an acceptable source for you?
Zeusdelight · 61-69, M
@gol979 Whatever your source is would be a good start.
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Zeusdelight so i just typed "lockdown causes supply chain problems" and there are a load of establishment articles stating this. Crack on and if you disagree with "stopping goods being delivered leads to supply chain breakdown" let me know your point of view
@gol979
Don't bother.. some people are to stupid for words..
You're exactly correct.. the lockdowns caused the supply chain problems and money printing stimulus caused inflation.. the federal reserve of the United States added five TRILLION dollars to their balance sheet over the past two years and trillions more in currency swap guarantees with foreign central banks..
This was all forseen because it's simple mathematics..
And No, I will completely ignore any future attempts to assert a lockdown..
I'm done with this covidiocy..

@Onestarlitnight And some people only have abuse, with no evidence. At least @gol979 had a conversation.

@Onestarlitnight its pretty basic but ppl want "evidence", even for self-observable outcomes. Strange times.

Fair play. Best thing we can do en masse is just to ignore the decrees. Only way out of this imo
