Informed Consent

This was not done at my vaccination centre.

No document given, no reading of the risks, nothing about compensation in case of injury, nothing to sign.

International protocol says these things MUST be done.

Illegal and unethical.

All the four points are indeed respected.

@Elessar Not in this town. None of them, here. (It's 30 minutes by train from London)

@WalterF Hmm, I have friends living in London and no one is coercing them, as a plus they all had all the information they wanted to. The majority of them have taken it, the few left who haven't aren't being obliged or anything.

@Elessar Agreed the information is previously available to help people to make up their minds before going to have it. BUT that is not sufficient. The IC process has to be gone through in person, face to face, on site, pre-intervention. Document signed. This is not done. The pretext that there are too many people flooding in is not valid.

@WalterF I've just taken my second Pfizer a few hours ago. Over here there's definitely an on site, pre-intervention debriefing and risk assessment. In my case, the outcome was that I should've waited 45 minutes instead of 15 in observation due to past severe allergic events.

@Elessar I hope, all goes well. Allergies can be tricky

@WalterF So far so good
