Vaccinations 💉

It’s kinda mind boggling to me that people honestly see nothing wrong with businesses and corporations forcing vaccinations lol
A mask is one thing,
But a shot that will effect the insides of a human body..
idc what the situation is, what the shot is, what the case is… that shouldn’t be legal…

In Europe we have an option to get tested or show the evidence of natural antibodies after overcoming covid-19. If these options are denied then it suggests it's not just about protection of the customers or employees.
Why should the vaccinated have more privileges than those who developed their own antibodies?

@CrazyMusicLover Three reasons on top of my mind, against our approach:

1. It may encourage novaxxers to get purposefully infected in order to get the certificate without taking the shot nor a test every 48 hours, and while they'll mostly harm themselves *now*, it'll still put a (major) strain on healthcare resources if many of them choose to take that route, requiring new restrictions and what not;

2. We don't have enough evidence yet for long-term protection by natural exposure; there are studies saying it's worse than vaccine-induced, studies saying it's on par, and even studies saying it's better. Considering that the other endemic human coronaviruses reinfect us regularly, I'm more incline to be pessimistic on natural immunity *alone* being sufficient.

3. On the contrary, we know that people who got both infected and vaccinated are much better protected than either vaccinated and convalescents alone.

Do people really do this?😦

@CrazyMusicLover quite possibly, I know with chicken lox people would have chicken pox parties for their kids

@CrazyMusicLover I would really think so. I saw the kind of stuff these people are willing to do and believe, from sending scans of their ID (and possibly money in some form) to dubious Telegram accounts that promised to return them an EU digital certificate QR-code (which is impossible to forge, unless the private key in possession of health authority was stolen, due to them being digitally signed), to people taking veterinary drugs instead of getting themselves admitted even when severe, in order to "not become covid statistics", and because they've read on some blog, group, or anything that ivermectin would magically cure them, and that the authorities are keeping it secret to push some agenda.

I would totally think these people are capable of infecting themselves on purpose, when so many of them think the pandemic is a staged plot and the vaccine the "actual danger".

@CrazyMusicLover that's how I feel. I had covid in January. My natural antibodies are what were used to make the vaccine. I would love to get tested and see where my antibody level is now compared to the first round of vaxers. Especially those that lined up for Astr Zenica before it was basically pulled from the shelves.

@Firegod74 Over here you can get the pass 6 months after natural infection, iirc. When more data will be available on natural immunity, the window may be extended I suppose.

Vaccines immunity is not generated just by presenting a single protein to your body, adjuvants play a major role in effectiveness too.

Natural immunity gives a broader response (something like 27 different proteins versus just one), but that alone doesn't guarantee anything, otherwise Chinese vaccines that are practically the virus in an attenuated or inactivated form would be the most efficacious, whereas as far as I know they're even less effective than AstraZeneca.
