Vaccinations 💉

It’s kinda mind boggling to me that people honestly see nothing wrong with businesses and corporations forcing vaccinations lol
A mask is one thing,
But a shot that will effect the insides of a human body..
idc what the situation is, what the shot is, what the case is… that shouldn’t be legal…

Because the employer pays for your insurance
dakotaviper · 56-60, M
@SW-User actually, these vaccines are not paid by the Health Insurance Industry. They were bought by the US Government.
SW-User
@dakotaviper I know but businesses have to pay for insurance on the employees around here. Healthcare is free but you have to pay a fee every month. That covers sick leave for the employees.
dakotaviper · 56-60, M
@SW-User actually is doesn't. You get 80 hours mandated by the Government. Then if it lasts longer than that, they cannot fire you or lay you off or stop paying you. Which is also mandated by the Government. Now they can pay you 50% of your normal pay, but then Mandated Unemployment pays the rest.

@SW-User
I pay for my health insurance. It's a discounted rate for employees because of a group rate, but I pay for it.
pedrohedgerow · 61-69, M
@SW-User And you pay for their lifestyle.
SW-User
@dakotaviper only if you reached a certain hour count though. You can’t work for a company for 2 weeks then leave. Then there’s wsib on top of that
SW-User
@JerseyGal in Canada,it’s free. For the employee. The insurance is for reimbursing the company
JerseyGal · 56-60, F
@SW-User
Understand. Here it's not free for employees. At least not at all companies.
SW-User
@JerseyGal there are rules in place so drifters can’t just collect benefits after a month.
JerseyGal · 56-60, F
@SW-User
I feel that is a good thing. There should be rules in place.
SW-User
@JerseyGal people still find a way don’t worry.
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
ffs... when will the small minded people realize that there's no such thing as "free" insurance... 🙄
SW-User
@wildbill83 there’s such thing. The insurance is for the company
pedrohedgerow · 61-69, M
@wildbill83 I can only speak for me and my dog-NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@SW-User you pay for your "free" insurance at the gas pump...

Fuel Tax $1.20 per gallon vs .50¢ in the US
SW-User
@wildbill83 a gallon is 50 cents in the us?
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@SW-User apparently you Canucks have sub-par education too, especially reading comprehension... 🤔

SW-User
@wildbill83 oh i see. Im not a Canadian though. I just live here. So you think fuel tax pays healtcare?
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@SW-User among other things, it's simple economics. Governments/Social programs don't give anything for free, they get the funds somewhere, usually in taxes...
SW-User
@wildbill83 ok I would understand if the us had no taxes and you had to pay for healthcare but you do pay taxes and you also pay for healthcare. How come?
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@SW-User many of our taxes, fees, etc. are 1/2 or 1/3rd what they are in Canada, why do you think that is?
SW-User
@wildbill83 it’s 10% in the states,13% in Canada in the lowest bracket no?
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@SW-User were you dropped on your head as a baby or suffer some traumatic brain injury or something? feel like I'm talking to a wall...

Fuel Tax $1.20 per gallon vs .50¢ in the US
SW-User
@wildbill83 that’s not nearly enough to cover healthcare though. So tell me what’s the tax rate in the us. Besides fuel. So i can get a better understanding how superior you are
wildbill83 · 41-45, M
@SW-User 111,000,000 liters of gasoline sold per day, that's $35,000,000 just in fuel tax

And that's just one among hundreds of ways they tax goods to pay for social programs...
