I know the vaccines are safe because I believe science rather than random conspiracy theorists on the internet.

@SW-User They’re just as safe as a revolver with one bullet in the cylinder and pulling the trigger repeatedly.
Fact
1. Severe reactions DO occur
2. After getting the vaccine you have to sit there for 15 minutes to make sure severe reactions do not occur
3. Government protected pharmaceutical companies against liability lawsuits
Yep sounds safe to me!
Elessar · 31-35, M
@Shaveit There's been over two billion inoculations, and a few thousands clinically-relevant reactions. The alternative is a respiratory pathogen that in a similarly sized cohort would hospitalize something like half a billion.
Shaveit · 61-69, M
@Elessar It’s a few hundred thousand people have had severe reactions worldwide
Elessar · 31-35, M
@Shaveit Source? And even if true, hundreds of thousands is still much better than hundreds of millions.
Shaveit · 61-69, M
@Elessar that comment just shows you have no clue whatsoever. Maybe you should look at some historical data on other viruses and you could learn True facts about how their case histories and would let you know that everything you see here is not any worse than things that have happened in the past, they’re just over emphasized to install fear in the people like you.

@Elessar Look up the data you’re not even old enough to remember the shit that’s happened. You’re just a kid and has never been taught history.
Look up real data instead of getting your facts off of Facebook and Instagram
Elessar · 31-35, M
@Shaveit lmao, if there's a generation who's reliant on low grade TV shows, Facebook, WhatsApp and that sort of crap for information is yours. The forever-toddlers generation.
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@Elessar not to nitpick, but I'd say viruses in recent history. The Spanish Flu had a huge death count.
Elessar · 31-35, M
@basilfawlty89 With the medicine of 100 years ago, and a R number surely lower than 5.0. Imagine what covid could've done back then, almost every severe hospitalisation would've been a death sentence.
Shaveit · 61-69, M
@Elessar What about cholera… Oh you don’t know anything about history do you
Elessar · 31-35, M
@Shaveit Last epidemic of which, here, killed 24 (twenty four) people and was eliminated within a few months with mass vaccination.

Sounds quite a bit better and more manageable to me, eh.
Shaveit · 61-69, M
@Elessar What an idiot… You continue to show that stupidity can reach heights of unimaginable proportion. You really need to look up some death statistics and quit talking to the other children on Facebook and thinking that that’s where the facts are located

@Shaveit Facts are - getting vaccinated is a damn good idea, and anti-vaxxers are morons of the first degree. The past is only an abject lesson in the value of public health measures and medical progress.

@MarmeeMarch exactly that’s the point. If you want the vaccine and you wanna wear a mask I do not have a problem with that what I have a problem with is trying to mandate that all get the vaccine and have to wear a mask. The data shows that you can still get and transmit Covid after the vaccine so what the hell is the point if People want to take a chance with their own health leave the people alone. We will be the people that die right? Problem solved!

@Shaveit
We live in a society.

I’m saying it’s 15 minutes of Russian Roulette
Lmao I take more of a risk every time I drive into work. You have a truly bizarre approach to risk assessment.
Shaveit · 61-69, M
@QuixoticSoul I deal in Rick assessment every day
