I think the reason is that companies were going to be mandated to test unvaccinated workers once a week, and of course that would cost and disrupt operations, and companies are having none of that.

Yeah cause the govt proposed that in Dec 2021 and would go into effect in January 2022. So overnight, it was like covid never existed.

Of course when companies were benefitting from the pandemic, they were all about it but once it started getting in the way, THEN they stopped playing the little pandemic game.

It's we*rd cause all we ever hear about it now is MAYBE on a sign at CVS or Walgreens, the ones that are even left.

So yeah, the reasons might be debatable but it was around that timeline. By 2024, everything covid, vax, and pandemic had been forgotten.
