I quit my job. No joke, I quit my job of three years at a time when I should of quit during the height of the pandemic.

Why? I'm a masochistic idiot!

Nothing bad has happened to me. My life actually went into an upswing after the pandemic. My job gave me more hours and started paying me more due to the business Covid drummed you (grocery store), I used my Stimmy money to pay for Beauty school, and I’m saving the rest to pay for my medical esthetics course after I finish. 🤷‍♀️ I also lost 54 pounds so far.

I was moving to a the city to start a new job and put down a mortgage on a house.. No job, no house, had to move in with my mother.. Pathetic right?

@Alifeinterrupted It hasn't been easy. I've been waiting on my Police Check to come through so I can start a new job. But its taking it sweet time getting here... Any day now. 🤞

One word...separation. I have been in this apartment for over a year, and I haven't seen my youngest brother in all that time. The other one goes overboard in the area of caution. I see him more often, but it's always some kind of mask. The last time I asked him to fix my PC, he had the nerve to ask if I had a mask and demanded that I wear it "to protect me". I put it on to pacify him, but he came in masked and insisted on putting on disposable gloves before touching the machine. He looked like Dr. Kildare or one of the guys on "M*A*S*H" at work.
I lost my grandmother early as a result of COVID.

The positive is that it's brought some of us together again.

@TheFlippantSide my sincerest condolences for your lost

Positive: Right before it all started I was summoned for federal jury duty. That means two weeks of traveling far in order to sit in a courthouse all day. It got cancelled due to covid.

Ah, not a whole lot. I was a homebody before the pandemic even began, so no real change
