Can you believe people still think covid is jsut another flu? or not that bad? or even worse not real?

Covid is definitely bad and has the world down on its knees, but it is not as bad as the media has made it out to be. There is a lot of fear mongering.
There are a lot of deaths, yes. But when the flu as we knew as flu was first known, it had a lot of deaths until people developed immunity. Malaria kills in millions every year. And most people infected by Corona do recover.
Maybe the phrasing of 'just another flu' is triggering but I'd rather not be in fear of it being something overly dangerous.
