Would you get the vaccine for Corona Virus?

I would not... not trying to be ignorant but who knows what the heck they put in there ..

No because it's moving too fast and I don't know what is in it and I don't trust something so fast so soon

@scabs to be fair you probably don’t know what’s in your food, so what hope do you have of understanding a vaccine?
scabs · 51-55, T
@WintaTheAngle True but it's too fast

@WintaTheAngle I found a fly in my soup 😢

@WintaTheAngle That's a crummy analogy. A better one would be a brand new food, created by science, untested, and being pushed by the government as the answer to malnutrition.

You just going to eat it unquestioningly?

Or would you wait and see?
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@SumKindaMunster It isn’t crummy. Because it is not untested and it not being pushed. It’s passed testing and it is something you can choose to have. You’re letting hysterical here say cloud the subject.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@WintaTheAngle Ok, fair. It's been tested, but not to the level that other vaccines have been tested before they are rolled out.

We've never used mRNA as a vaccination medium before, that is largely untested, and it certainly has not been tested long term.

As far as a "choice" yes technically that is true as well. But what happens when airlines, restaurants, concert venues, theme parks, and businesses start requiring the vaccine to allow access?

Would you consider that a fair choice?

And again, sorry but I think my analogy was more apt to the situation.
WintaTheAngle · 41-45, M
@SumKindaMunster The speed of the delivery is only relative to the threat level and the progress made since the realise of previous vaccines. It’s tested, it’s effective and it’s safe.

With regard to your second point, if you’re going to make life choices that make you a danger to members of the public then you have to accept responsibility for that choice.

It’s tested, it’s effective and it’s safe.

We'll see.

With regard to your second point, if you’re going to make life choices that make you a danger to members of the public then you have to accept responsibility for that choice.

You feel the same if it turns out the vaccine has significant side effects and they have to pull it? You'll hold those people accountable?
