As Covid19 drags on do you find yourself washing your hands less or using less hand sanitizer?

As stores and restaurants open more do you still social distance as much or are you slowly sliding back into old habits?

I have never sanitized nor washed my hands this much in 28 years of nursing. I follow all the rules. Especially in public settings. I social distance as much as I can. My life matters to me and to those who love me.

@Stereoguy I am so tired of wearing masks. My asthma is acting up. I am stuffy all the time. My skin on my face is irritated. My lips are so chapped. My hands are dry even more so than in winter. And still the threat of this virus looms over me at work. Then I hear about irresponsible people partying. Crowds. No masks. I think you selfish fucking assholes. Maybe you won' t get sick or die. Maybe you will kill your mither or your father or grandparents or neighbours or a complete stranger. I wonder how stupid and hateful. How uncaring. To tamper with others lives. It sickens me. It disgusts me. And causes me stress in my job and makes me be ever more careful. Thank you for listening. I value my life as well as the life of others too.

@Stereoguy There is nothing that could punish them severely enough. They just don't give a damn. And others will suffer by getting sick and some will die. All because of lack of care and because of stupidity. One would think that life would be more valued, but not for some. I am at the point where I relish the thought of not wearing a mask and I am content to stay at home. It feels so wonderful not to wear one nor to have to wear all the rest of the gowns, face shields, etc. I actually feel so light without them on. A rainy day and night again. I hope your Sunday sings. Back to work tonight for me til Thursday night. Take care, friend.

@Stereoguy There is nothing wrong with my shoulder. Never has been. My left knee has been causing me trouble. Osteoarthritis triggered by a slip on my broken deck stairs. Curse that damn contractor who skipped out on me with most of the job paid for. He will suffer for that. Karma. I wear a brace ie a supportive sleeve when hiking or horseback riding. I am doing exercises for it. Hopefully, it will improve in 6 weeks. Thank you.
