It seems likely at the moment they'll be a second wave of government lockdowns and restrictions. Starting to wonder at what point to start just ignoring the government - as the lockdowns impinge on so many of our basic rights and for no tangible benefit. I think a lot of harm will come out of more restrictions - economic and social harm, all the cancelled care JUST to cater exclusively for a virus that appears to be no deadlier than flu! Gov seems to have tunnel vision.

Yup. I'm fucked tbh.

I literally work in a place where it's spreading like it's in the air. The other day a few of my colleagues went to get tested at work and the guy handing out the results turned out to be positive.

Travel season is coming to an end so that makes sense. I think the winter will be much worse because windows will be closed most of the day and the A/C will pull double duty just spreading that shit everywhere. But only time will tell, and we shouldn't panic before anything actually happens, and even when shit goes sideways we should stay calm :)
