Well what i feared has already started...

We have to wear masks in shops from this Friday and people have already started saying that anyone who is exempt from wearing a mask for medical reasons shouldn't be allowed in the shops.

I knew this would happen, now I'm waiting for them to start blaming us for any new cases

Being disabled is hard enough without the worried wells paranoia that those of us who barely leave their homes as it is might infect them. I'm getting really hacked off with the attitudes of those who feel we have no place or right to be a part of society because we are disabled.

I'd like to say a big FUCK YOU to all of the morons who are mask shaming others.

@Beautifullyderanged Oh I know, the amount of bitching I've seen from the "well" about being stuck in their homes has at times had me in hysterics, they still neither realise or care that for many of us that's sadly our normal and we have to cope with whatever ails us on top of that.

@TryingtoLava How is being unable to go to the shops or DR for MY safety!? Currently because of mask shamers I go nowhere, banning those of us that aren't able to wear a mask from shops and public transport isn't helpful nor does it increase my safety and that is what is currently happening.

I have absolutely no problem with people with medical conditions not wearing masks. I am wearing a mask to protect you. Not to protect myself from you.

My only issue in this politics of masks is the claim that any assertion that they have utility is a crazed fear driven political statement.

You can get an exempt card from the hidden disability foundation. My cousin has a pass from them for his.

@SW-User Nope, anyone can get the exemption card by going to the website, it's completely legally meaningless for one and shafting the poorest people with stupidly high postage charges disgusts me too much to give them my money for what is essentially a worthless bit of laminate.

@SW-User I've got the whole "Emergency Order" sill up in a tab, and read the whole thing. I didn't see people being mandated to wear masks in their own homes, anywhere in there.
