CAN AN UNTESTED VACCINE BE SAFE?

The federal government will pay the drugmaker Novavax $1.6 billion to develop a successful vaccine and produce 100 million doses by early 2021. It’s a big bet on a company that has never brought a product to market.
THIS IS FOR A VACCINE THAT DOES NOT EXIST AT THE MOMENT,IT WILL BE UNTESTED........HOW CAN THIS BE SAFE?

Part of the process for developing a drug is a stage regime of testing. If it does not go through those stages it cannot be marketed.

No way would I want to take it.

Year before last I was paid for my time and travel to be in a study for a flu shot made out of tobacco instead of eggs and I did great with it. I still don't know if I had the regular flu shot or the trial flu shot but no way in the world would I ever sign up for the Covid Vaccine........
