For what its worth, in my opinion we dont have a "S.W v E.P." problem here. We have an environmental problem. The social media environment and how people interact have fundamentally shifted in the time SW has moved into the EP role. Politics and its denizens have become cruder and more strident. Publicity has become propaganda and truth has become openly expendable.
I dont see that as the fault of S.W. Just the occupants.

I don't remember EP ever being sane, but people were much more prone to have civilized discourse, or just block instead of vomiting their lack of human decency at others. (Mostly)

For sure, the SJW's appear to have become more plentiful on here now than they used to be on EP too or were they just hiding under rocks more back then?

Sadly same thing use to happen on ep, but it happened so rare that people could go weeks without being bullied but sadly those times are gone and I like you long for them.

I liked the sanity of EP where I could talk about my insanity.

I think we can be sensitive but still not quite sane.

People were attacked brutally on EP. Including myself. It's inevitable. The more sinister the plot the more they stir the pot. SW is EP. Refined. Trimmed. Tuned. Tested and approved. It's 2020 now. Enjoy. 🙂

We don’t have competent leadership in the US.

The world has changed. Social media and habits associated with it haved changed. We cannot ever go back to the past. Right now divisiveness is at a peak as well.

I agree. But humanity has gone downhill in the past decade alone dramatically. Cell phones, social media, drugs, alcohol. People seem to just not care anymore about anything. So to each his own. 🙂

The issues that have been considered political for some insane reason have been surrounded by a lot of lunacy. I'm not sure EP was all that much more sane. The crazy just took different, and frankly more perverse forms.

I think if youre gonna talk about George Floyd by the way, just imagine if it were your child that was killed by a cop in cold blooded murder. 🤔
