I pronounce it to rhyme with "Sharona" (soft 'o').

Someone recently told me a very large number of Americans have stopped buying Corona-brand drinks, believing some (imaginary)connection with the corona virus genus. I find that hard to believe - it may have originated as rather dubious satire - but anyone really that daft presumably avoids sunlight too, because a star's atmosphere is called its "corona"...?
