In the US .

@TexChik It's already landed in the US. I think you're fairly safe from it here but there's definitely safer places. I mean, if we were to use the entire Earth and take this question super literally, I'd say Antarctica is probably the safest place from it. But I'm not gonna go live at the Vostok station to avoid corona virus.

@BlueMetalChick nope me either
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@TexChik The coldest temperature ever recorded at ground level on Earth was measured there, at Vostok, and reached an unfathomable -128 degrees Fahrenheit.
I was in Snag, in the Yukon, one time and it hit -84 F though.

@BlueMetalChick omg ! The coolest I’ve ever been in was at the farm during a blizzard . The wind was howling . The wind chill was -40, ambient was -2 . The snow was so cold it was like sand
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@TexChik The wind makes all the difference, doesn't it? I'd rather have 5 degrees and no wind than 35 degrees with strong wind.
TexChik · F
@BlueMetalChick yes ! The wind gets me cold really quick
