The most agonizing day

My dad who has cancer in hospice, has so much congestion from his bout of pneumonia a few weeks ago, it's horrible watching and hearing him breathe. They kinda minimize it saying it's not labored breathing or hurting them but more hard for us to hear. But I'm sure the body is struggling. He's moaning, and just can't barely talk either. He tries to say something but is too weak. It's heart wrenching that life can be this way.
You truly wonder about God in these moments. Why people need to endlessly suffer.

His roommate tv is pretty loud too. Not obscenely but enough that we don't have quiet or privacy. It's constant gun shot Westerns for hours. I asked my dad earlier if it was too loud , he said no. But he's out of it so I don't know if that's true. I've been wanting to have him turn it down even one to two notches but I'm painfully shy. 😞

You can ask the nurse about the noise and she can have him turn it down. If you mention the gunshots being too much they might understand.

@ScreamingFox I hope he doesn't get mad , knowing I probably asked the nurse.( Because they rarely come in. )

@Baybreeze who cares, it's not his house. He's sharing a room and needs to be considerate
