Heart Breaks

My heart breaks for my sister.(#6)
Her boyfriend has cancer and it's aggressive without chemo he will die.
She had a rocky first marriage and felt she had found the "one".
They have been together a long time.
You never know about this life it's brief and goes by way too fast even if you make it into old age, he's only 58.


UPDATE
Looks like the cancer is now in his brain.
I don't think he's going to make it.

[@justmeraeagain ] 😞that is the terrible thing with cancer it shows no discrimination it effects all ages sadly . all you can do is too be a good brother and be there as a shoulder for your sister too lean on during these trying times

@nevergiveup We have to face the reality that cancer will kill him.
That doesn't mean we will become wholly negative.
But death is complicated and not something we will be able to stop no matter how many positive thoughts we have.

@Justmeraeagain I got cancer at 13 years old. I have never been fully free but have some years between operations. Now 65 and still fighting.

@Justmeraeagain I went through it and radiation treatments today are so much better (more precise and targeted), that the experience isn't as horrible as it once was. It's no picnic, but they sure are better than the alternative.

Encourage your sister to get him into the program.
