What shall I do?

I always end up on SW when i can't sleep.
I have "Painsomnia"
It's not fun.
I seem to be living on Lemsip a bit at the moment.
Im wondering what to do to feel better/ distract myself.
Any suggestions?

I should clarify, "painsomnia" is not an actual condition, it's a symptom of living with chronic pain -> insomnia! Just in case anyone thought I was taking the mickey!

I’ve used this topical cream at times. It’s gabapentin mixed with piroxicam. This is a compounded topical cream sometimes prescribed for localized nerve or musculoskeletal pain.

Gabapentin: targets nerve-related pain such as burning or tingling.
Piroxicam: a topical NSAID intended to reduce inflammation and pain.

Difficult to sleep when in pain. Been there

That's a tough one. Chronic pain is no joke.

@samueltyler2 I think that generally the NHS is wonderful in an emergency but not really set up to deal with ongoing chronic problems. Perhaps that is the same everywhere, i dont know. I do have a very good GP, thankfully.
