If an adult with ADHD tells you they are putting something somewhere safe, if you have any attachment to that item whatsoever, immediately and firmly

ask them to hand it to you, otherwise you are never seeing that thing again.

Fiancee has inattentive ADHD, so I'm quite familiar with this.

Also familiar with telling her about my plans for tomorrow four or five times, each time like it's the first she's hearing of it.

Never a dull moment.

It happens with anxiety as well.
I would tell my husband not to hand me anything while I was anxious because I would lose it.

It really depends. As an adhd poster child it's eithwr lost in ten second on a table or remembered exactly in which drawer, of which box, buried in which corner, in which closet, buried behind how many dozens of other boxes or drawers for 10 years..

Is like everything with adhd. Was the object bs pr not? BS object, who the fuck knows. Don't have neuropathways to waste on shit like tax forms, Liscenses, permits, bank statments. All bullshit.

Important things like those out of production m328 transistors, OEM stromburgh carb rebuild kits, or an odd thread pitch 7/32 tap I will never forget exaclty where I last put it.

Like I tell people. We just have no time, energy, or tolerance for bullshit. Stop bothering us with bullshit, we got awesomeshit to worry about.
