I saw you mentioned a pain pump...where will it be implanted?

@Coralmist The pump itself is implanted in the abdomen and is attached to a catheter inserted in the space around your spinal cord.
I was admitted for a trial last spring to figure out the best placement for the catheter. Unfortunately it kept getting put off either due to staffing issues or illness.

@SwampFlower I hope it helps! My sister was to get the spinal stimulator, which could alleviate her neuropathy pain on feet, but unfortunately her A1c was too high (an average of blood sugars the last three months). They didn't want risk of infection.. good luck friend!
Wish i could take your pain away. My warm lap is all I have though
