Yes its not shingles, urgent care told me its an infection, not sure from what exactly, but caused cellulitis..so he " guessed" a spider bite but if it goes beyond the line he drew to go to ER IMMEDIATELY. Put me on doxycycline hyclate twice a day for 10 days. If no improvement, go to ER..UGH I HATE PAIN AND PILLS! Tylenol 500 twice a day for 10 days half hr after antibiotics. Yay..another day..it is what ever it is..i dont understand why they didnt culture the yellow
drainage or at least run blood work...

I've had that in the past and it's nasty. Aside from the physical symptoms it would make me delirious - I was unable to use a computer, for example. To be treated as very serious - a medical emergency. I had several bouts of it. I haven't had it recently.
