Update on MIL.

MIL was taken in to hospital the begining of last to have some corrective work done on her stump ( she had her left leg amputated in Sept.) The bone was almost poking through but they decided not to take any action and sent her home. Within days, the bone did break the skin and quickly became infected, so less than 10 days after they discharged her, they asked us to readmit her.
Also, her remaining leg is now painful and useless so they have been assessing whether to remove that too.
She finally had surgery on her stump on Thursday and it seems to be healing well. Yesterday, they finally informed is she having her amputation today... so is in surgery as we speak.
