I’m having surgery next week

@being thank you! it’s a day surgery so I will only be out of the house for the afternoon.

@Jenny1234 I was walking the next day. Climbing stairs, standing up,and getting in and out of bed took about 10 days. An orthopedic seat cushion helped a lot so I sat higher.

@Jenny1234 You can do it. It's just uncomfortable, but the more you move the faster it gets better. Im cheering for you.

@GerOttman how was your recovery?

@Jenny1234 Didn't have any problems. On short term disability for 6 weeks. no lifting. Lots of ice packs for the first week or so. Not much pain at all. also had a cyst removed at the same time. saved me needing two separate surgeries. biggest issue was a nasty razor burn in a sensitive area... Id do my own shave if it came up again!
