I'm getting pretty nervous

I noticed a tiny nodule bump under my skin (you can't see it though) in my tummy area, last year. It was tiny and like in the muscle wall. My sister had one, a lipoma of sorts, it was benign. I didn't feel it again for months and it didn't have that twinge of pain like at first. Well now, many months later, it is hurting off and on. I am going to call up to get an ultrasound/Xray but I am also pretty nervous :( I am hoping that it is what my sister had, b/c it is so close to the muscle wall, and it feels like a cyst that hurts when you touch it. What if it is not benign though?? I have had such an awful life, filled with abuse and anxiety and suffering, and never had a true love. My life is going through my eyes right now thinking WHat IF? I have so many years left I want to push past my PTSD and fears.... it is just really weighing on me right now.

So sorry. I hope you can get it checked, and treated if need be.

@JoyfulSilence Ty.. I just truly hope it is benign.

I know the fear.

I had a Cologuard test that came back positive. Apparently it detected blood in my stool, but I saw none. So I got a colonoscopy, and was worried. Yet not too much, since the chance of cancer was 4%, and it is treatable.

Fortunately, they did not see cancer, but saw inflammation. So I am on drugs for that. I think they are helping.

@JoyfulSilence That is such great news :) Yes, my sis says it most likely will be benign as it sounds exactly like what she had years ago, and it was easily removed in one day. I guess after many months I may have had symptoms perhaps too if it were cancer, like people get really tired or flu like symptoms. Luckily I have not had that, it is the only thing positive in my mind right now... I am sure my heart will be racing when they do the Xray :(

@JoyfulSilence my doctor wanted me to do one of those but going to UPS with it...just couldn't do it. I asked her if it came with a ribbon that I could tie around the box which gave her a good laugh

Instead I went with the colonoscapy recently which came out well
