Sci Fi fans and readers of Dune by Frank Herbert: I found out this morning that I would have flunked the Gom Jabbar. :(

The IV nurse at the hospital hurt me SO badly trying to put the IV into my hand that I yelled, and cried, and made a nuisance of myself. They were heaving great sighs of disgust, and the IV nurse told me I was a grown woman and should behave that way. Of course, pain that intense and that prolonged takes all of that out of your control.

@BizSuitStacy I am. Finally. In one week they will have the biopsy results, and at the end of February, (first available appointment), I will have a "2 week" follow up visit with the gastroenterologist.
