We used to unite over causes which affected children, particularly when they were hurt, more so when they died.
Now, it's so...odd & inconsistent that the party so hell-bent on getting children *here* (into this life) appears to suddenly abandons them upon arrival, esp. if helping them might mean some small sacrifice (masking, for instance). If life is truly to be held sacred, surely it is to be held sacred in our children.
